An official site launched for the ChaO original anime film on Wednesday, disclosing the main cast, music composer, teaser visual (shown), and a teaser trailer. The anime is set to debut in Japanese theaters on August 15. Actors Ouji Suzuka (Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi) and Anna Yamada are taking on the roles of Stephen and Chao, respectively. The music is being composed by Takatsugu Muramatsu (Omoide no Marnie). Yasuhiro Aoki (Batman: Gotham Knight) is directing the anime at Studio 4°C.
