The Evangelion Wind Symphony, which held its first performance in Tokyo in 2018, is making its first North American tour this August.
The official Evangelion X (formerly Twitter) account announced that the Evangelion Wind Symphony 2025 In North America concert will alight in Toronto, Canada on August 26. It will later head to the US, with stops in Irving, Texas (August 28) and Los Angeles, California (August 30).
For this edition of the concert, which is being held on Evangelion’s 30th anniversary, the Kashamara Productions ticket site says that “newly arranged wind orchestra pieces from Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time will be performed live for the first time, alongside beloved classics from the original TV series and Rebuild of Evangelion films.
Evangelion fans can also expect “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” singer Yoko Takahashi to “join the tour for a special performance to select parts of the program.”
A limited edition Evangelion badge will be given to the concert’s first thousand ticket buyers (per city), and Kasahamra Productions says that this “will unlock a secret surprise to be announced in the coming weeks.”
If you’re in the area on those dates and are interested in hearing Shiro Sagisu‘s Evangelion score being performed live by a wind orchestra, tickets for Evangelion Wind Symphony 2025 are set to go on sale on May 2 at 10 AM local time. Kashamara Productions followers and subscribers will get a headstart through presales that begin on April 28 at 10 AM local time.
