A new mystery game titled Project:;COLD case.mirage is now available on Nintendo Switch and Steam in Japan. It was revealed at the Nintendo Direct 2025 presentation on March 27 JST.
Project:;COLD case.mirage sees players attempting to solve a fire incident that claimed the lives of five girls. The protagonist gets involved when a mysterious boy called Iori Heartfield (voiced by Aoi Yuki) appears on their desktop screen, and adding to the intrigue, Iori says that the truth of the incident is the key to reclaiming the protagonist’s lost memories.
As the Nintendo Direct trailer and teaser trailer show, the investigation is carried out using the protagonist’s PC. One of the game’s features is the Wizard:Human Emulator, which allows the protagonist to converse with digital recreations of the victims as part of the investigation.
D.A.G Inc. developed Project:;COLD case.mirage, which has Bandai Namco Entertainment as its publisher. It is the first video game in the Project:;COLD series of “SNS mystery” games, which sport character designs by Kei Mochizuki. Mochizuki drew a commemorative illustration for the video game.
The voice actors for the five girls include Iori Saeki as Misato Kazahari, Yukina Shuto as Runa Yoshinaga, Nonoka Obuchi as Kaoru Hanasaku, Hana Ayasaka as Shoko Kusakabe, and Mayu Sagara as Kirara Sumida.
