‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess Season 2 is set to premiere in January 2026. A teaser visual for the new season, featuring the titular princess in knight leader form and the ex-assassin Sakura Heartlock, has also been released.
‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess is based on the Shueisha-published gag manga written by Robinson Haruhara and illustrated by Hirakei, which began serialization in Shonen Jump+ in 2019 and has 16 tankoubon volumes as of October 2024. The premise involves the torment of a captive human princess at the hands of the Hellhorde.
The first season of the anime premiered in Japan in January 2024. Crunchyroll, which has licensed Season 2, describes the premise as:
As the war between the Imperial Army and Hellhorde rages on, the Princess, despite being armed with her mythical sword Excalibur, is captured and imprisoned. What kind of torture does she face at the hands of the chief demon interrogator? Fluffy fresh-baked toast! Hot, steaming ramen! Oh, the humanity! Can the Princess withstand these tormenting treats and keep her kingdom’s secrets safe?
The manga is available in English on Manga Plus.
